Hello,

It was my second day at LFW today and the weather was looking quite cheerful when I woke up, so I opted for this outfit. However, the sunshine was a bit hit and miss throughout the day but I should have expected that, really...

I absolutely love these shorts; they fit me very well and I only paid a tenner for them in the Topshop sale, which is amazing. I really tried to avoid the monochrome look today and I suppose I did manage to add a bit of variation, with the gold jewellery and pops of grey and nude. I also really like the lipstick I'm wearing, which is a Chanel one, so not as cheap as the Topshop shorts (!) but lovely nevertheless. It makes my lips look really full and there's something about the finish that is really beautiful. It stays on for a very long time, too.

Today I went to the Edeline Lee SS15 presentation and I have to say, I was really impressed. I really love all the pieces the designer put together and I especially liked how she drew inspiration from interior design, which showed in how her presentation was laid out. I'll insert some pics here...

To see my article on the Edeline Lee presentation, it will be up soon on Stilorama.com...

'Til next time!

'Sister Style' OOTD: Zinat

Hi guys,

So Zinat is a friend who works for Stilorama with me, therefore making her one very fashionable lady. She attends Fashion Week every season and has interned for the likes of Vivienne Westwood, plus has worked in retail for a number of years. You could say that Zinat is one of my inspirations, haha! I love her style, obviously; she likes a lot of vintage / retro looks and often I think she has a bohemian touch to some of her outfits. She tends to go for dark, neutral and earthy colours but sometimes opts for a bright red lip.

This outfit is so effortlessly cool; as usual, quite neutral with some denim but I like how she has gone for crazy banana-print socks and metallic sandals. I also really like the slicked hair and vintage bag. It's probably an outfit that I would go for myself, and therefore it's so easy for me to love it!

London Fashion Week September 2014 - Friday the 12th

Coat: Michael Kors
Crop top: Boohoo.com
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: eBay
Necklace: Topshop
Bracelet: H&M
Earrings: Primark and Topshop

Hey all,

Well, Fashion Week has commenced once again and I have to say, this is the first time I've seen such beautiful weather at Somerset House! Having planned my outfit in advance of course, I condemned myself to a thick black coat, which is amazingly gorgeous even so (it's Michael Kors - eek!) but yes, I was sweaty about 70% of the day. Oh, how we suffer for fashion...

I wanted to be quite sharp and stylish on the first day, so went with monochrome (duh) and some slicked back locks. I thought of adding a coloured lip but this black lipstick from Miss Sporty just won me over. It means business.

Stay tuned for more LFW posts...

OOTD: Never Overdressed

Dress: New Look
Jacket: H&M
Bag: Missguided.co.uk
Shoes: River Island
Bracelet: Topshop
Ring: Topshop

Hello,

Last night I went out to an Indian restaurant called 'Carom', which is situated on Wardour Street in Oxford Circus. The food was delicious, there was plenty of it and the prices were very reasonable indeed! It may seem as if I'm quite overdressed for the occasion but my friend - who organised the dinner - likes to spice things up just for the hell of it. Do you really need an excuse to be looking fly though, anyway?!

This dress is very simple but lovely. I love the dusky pink colour - it looks great with gold jewellery. However, my favourite part of the outfit is definitely my shoes! Those shoes! They were on sale for a ridiculous price in River Island and although they do kill my feet after a while, they are so perf. Plus, it looks as if they match the bag I have, despite the fact that the bag is from somewhere completely different. I chose a simple brown smokey eye and slicked back hair to complete this look. It was the first time I had attempted a hairstyle like that but I really do like it and I think I'll be recreating it for Fashion Week, which is approaching faster than you would believe...

I'm so excited!

OOTD: Heard You Were A Wild One

Shirt: River Island
Jeans: Vintage
Bag: Peacocks
Shoes: Nike Air Max 1s
Lips: Barry M '129'

Hi all,

It's ridiculous how many compliments I've had on this shirt. This is the first time in a long while that I have managed to infuse some interesting colour combos into my outfit. I love the jungle print on this particular piece - it really works for summer (and it's not flowery - bonus!)

Was feeling quite casual today, hence the slouchy jeans, trainers and just-washed hair. However, I always compensate with the make-up - I love this new lilac lipstick of mine (it always seems to remind me of Nicki Minaj!) It's got a very creamy texture, which is nice, but I do wish the staying power was a little stronger. Having said that, my trusty Lipcote came in handy once again.

Last day of summer!

Bring on Autumn...
