Hello again,
My friend celebrated her 18th birthday on Bank Holiday Monday, and since she had decided to hire a bouncy castle and put up a piñata (legend!) I decided to go for an outfit that was fun and comfortable but still quite snazzy!

I absolutely adore the pinafore - being black, it's obviously very versatile and the culottes allow it to still be very comfy :) .. you can easily use it for everyday use but also jazz it up a bit so it's suitable for a night out.

We were lucky to have some actual summer weather over the Bank Holiday weekend! Looks like we're back to square one again now...

Maybelline Baby Lips Review

Hi all,

As you know, I went to Florida in April and did a crazy amount of shopping, most of it beauty related. I had been wanting to get my hands on the Maybelline Baby Lips for a while as people on YouTube had been raving about them, so I picked up Peach Kiss (30) and Pink Punch (25) for $3.99. I believe most pharmacies and places like ULTA sell these lipbalms and apparently they are due to hit the UK later on this year...

First and foremost, I thought the packaging was adorbs (I'm a big sucker for packaging) and as for the product itself, they certainly did make my lips seem baby soft for a while. They add a nice sheen of colour, so you could technically use the product as a 2-in-1 lipbalm and gloss. 

BUT, notice the 'a while'. I often find myself reapplying this product over and over again without significant improvements. I think they aren't designed to sink into the skin properly, merely to coat the lips with some sort of layer that eventually ends up making the lips drier than they should be. It's a shame, because I had quite high expectations of these lipbalms. Maybe some of you will enjoy them but I am particularly fussy about moisturising and don't think I will be purchasing the Baby Lips again. 

Even so, I'll have them around so that I can reach for them from time to time if I don't have any other lipbalms available. They would be cuter than they are now if the product was just right!

Sunsets and Seashells

Sunset, beach, swimming pool, shopping bags, frozen yoghurt, shells, palm trees and two funny faces!

Last month my cousin and I went on holiday to Florida - or the Sunshine State - and it certainly lived up to its nickname! The weather was beautiful, the shopping was incredible and the food portions were ridiculous! Two weeks certainly wasn't enough because coming back to dreary London felt worse than it should have (our short-lived spring here already seems like a distant memory.)
All in all, it was a lovely break and I really wish I could go back there soon...

Hello everyone! My name is Rhiannon and welcome to my blog :) 

Having scoured numerous fashion and beauty related blogs over the past few months and spent time ogling in admiration, I finally decided to start my own! I'm an aspiring journalist and author; my dream is to become editor of a magazine, partly so I can have a pretty office (just kidding, although a big reclining chair and nice corkboard would be awesome!)

Fashion is something that fades but style always remains eternal - wise words by Yves Saint Laurent. I don't necessarily follow trends but I do take inspiration from many of them, and always go with what I feel comfortable in. There's nothing worse than trying to fit in with a certain fashion and feeling like a fish out of water! Be true to yourself and that's all that matters :)
