Wow, 2013 is over! Didn't that go fast? Luckily for me, there were more ups than downs over the past 12 months .. how about you guys? What was the highlight of this year for you?

At the moment I am in Scotland - Edinburgh to be precise - and as you might have guessed, it isn't the warmest place on earth! That's why I'm in love with this faux fur jacket from H&M; it is so cosy and at only £30 it was an absolute steal!

'Sister Style' OOTD: Shannon

Hi guys,

I'm going to start introducing 'sisters' to the blog, the end result being a delightful mish-mash of styling ideas (the more the merrier, as they say!)

The first sister I'm introducing is Shannon, my good friend from secondary school. Shannon's style is mostly urban with maybe a little bit of retro thrown into the mix, and the outfit she's wearing here is very on trend at the moment; tartan, as we all know, is a big thing for autumn and winter, and I like that she's gone with an alternative colour palette as opposed to your average vermilion. The shoes are every blogger's dream, and the hat, with its pop of colour, adds a very urban touch to the whole look.

Don't be afraid to mix prints! Shannon isn't - the busy pattern on the backpack works well with the simpler pattern on the dress, and doesn't overpower the outfit at all.

OOTD: Birthday Shenanigans

Hello,

I am officially 19 years of age; how time flies! I'm at that stage - you know when you feel like you've definitely left the last age but not quite let the new age embrace you (so you're in a strange ageless limbo) - but nonetheless am happy to have celebrated and got my hands on some nice pressies.

For a night out at a Mexican restaurant, Rhi wore this...

When I put the outfit together, I felt like it was starting to get a bit preppy, especially as I was going to wear tights, so I ditched that idea and went bare-legged (I'm still not sure if I should have done that, as it was bloody Baltic.) Either way, I felt like it wasn't too party-ish and not too sophisticated. Somewhere comfortably in between.
