When I go for a casual look, I usually end up spicing up my make-up to compensate! 

I wore this on a normal day out shopping with the Mumsie; to make it less boring than it might have been, I added the pleather trousers, necklace and shoes. Those shoes! I always end up getting multiple stares whenever I wear them out, but I suppose that's a good thing. 

What sort of things do you do to make a casual outfit less boring?
